Vincent Birch is an Assistant Professor of Theology at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The central aim of his research is to deepen understanding of how it is that the divine life is mediated to the human person through revelation, sacrament, and grace. To this end, his current projects are focused on addressing questions in fundamental theology, Christology, theological anthropology, and sacramental theology by drawing on a semiotic tradition that originated with St. Augustine and developed throughout scholasticism and into modernity.
