Theresa Ryland is studying for a Sacred License in Theology (STL) at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C. She earned a BA in Classics from the University of Virginia, where she established a chapter of the Thomistic Institute and was inducted into the Eta Sigma Phi Classical Honor Society. She holds a MA in Theology from the Dominican House of Studies and a BPhil in Philosophy from the Angelicum in Rome. Her master’s thesis was awarded the first-place prize in an international contest for academic monographs in Thomistic studies. Her research interests are in Metaphysics, Theology of Grace, Thomistic Personalism, and Mariology.
