Hannah Woldum Ragusa is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy and the REACH [Reflecting on Ethics and Catholic Healthcare] Director at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned her Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America with a dissertation entitled “The Metaphysics of Image in the Thought of Thomas Aquinas.” Her interests include Thomistic metaphysics (relation, analogy, participation, transcendentals, image), philosophical and theological aesthetics, virtue ethics, the relationship between art and politics, and the relationship between faith and reason. In addition to peer-reviewed articles on some of these topics, she has also published art essays and poetry. Beyond her academic work, she enjoys creative writing, traveling, and spending time outside in the beauty of nature.
