Aaron Pidel (Ph.D., University of Notre Dame) is a Jesuit priest, docente incaricato associato of Fundamental Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University, and director of the Gregorian’s Catholic Studies in Rome program. In addition to various scholarly articles, he has published two monographs: Church of the Ever Greater God: The Ecclesiology of Erich Przywara (University of Notre Dame Press) and The Inspiration and Truth of Scripture: Testing the Ratzinger Paradigm (Catholic University of America Press). His current research focuses on the Jesuit theological tradition, especially its characteristic emphases in ecclesiology and the theology of the Mass.
