This lecture was led by Dr. Michael Scott Doran, an expert on American foreign policy, who served in the Bush administration as a Senior Director in the National Security Council and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense in the Pentagon, where he coordinated American foreign relation strategies. Prior to this, Doran held teaching positions at NYU, Princeton, and the University of Central Florida. Currently, he is a Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute in D.C. and author of many books including Ike’s Gamble: America’s Rise to Dominance in the Middle East.
