Join the IHE on Thursday, 6 March, at 3:00 PM (EST) for an info session on our Master of Arts in Human Rights program.
At this info session, you will hear from the program’s director, William Saunders, J.D., human rights lawyer and professor at Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law, as well as Tom Shakely, an alumnus of the program, and current Chief Communications Officer at the Catholic Diocese of Arlington.
Developed by the IHE, the M.A. in Human Rights is designed for students who wish to study human rights from a distinctly Catholic perspective. The program draws upon existing courses from several schools at The Catholic University of America, including politics, philosophy, theology, and law.
The Advisory Council for the Master’s Degree in Human Rights includes Robert George (Princeton), Mary Ann Glendon (Harvard), John Dilulio (Pennsylvania), and Helen Alvaré (George Mason).
