Clare Whitton is a doctoral candidate in Medieval History at the University of Oxford, Blackfriars Hall. Her research focuses on the evolution of the cult of San Gennaro in medieval and early modern Naples, Italy. She previously completed her undergraduate in history and classics from The Catholic University of America in 2018 and a masters degree in Late Medieval/Early Modern Religion and Society in 2019. She is originally from Poughkeepsie, New York.
