Adrian Walker is Professor of Dogmatics and Philosophy at Saint Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park, California. He has also taught at the John Paul II Institute in Washington, DC, and at the Catholic University of America.
His teaching and scholarship, born of a sustained interior dialogue between philosophy and theology, have focused above all on Trinitarian theology, Christology, metaphysics, the philosophy of nature, political philosophy, and the philosophy of science and technology. In addition to producing numerous articles on a variety of topics ranging from the Trinity to bioethics, Walker has worked for almost three decades as an academic editor and theological translator. Among the works he has translated into English are volume one of Benedict XVI’s Jesus of Nazareth and volumes one and two of Hans Urs von Balthasar’s Theologic.
