Fr. Philip-Neri Reese, O.P., is a Dominican friar, a catholic priest, and a professor of philosophy at the Angelicum in Rome, where he also serves as the Director of the Angelicum Thomistic Institute. His research focuses generally on the history of metaphysics, specifically on scholastic metaphysics, and particularly on the metaphysics of Thomas Aquinas and its subsequent reception. He is the author of numerous articles, as well as the book Aquinas on Metaphysics as a Science, which is forthcoming with Cambridge University Press.
