Father Vincent Strand, S.J.  is a junior fellow at The Gibbons Institute, a priest of the Society of Jesus and Assistant Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at The Catholic University of America. His research and teaching focuses on the theology of grace, Christology, fundamental theology, and Christian politics. Fr. Strand’s scholarly and popular writing has appeared in journals such as Theological StudiesThe ThomistInternational Journal of Systematic Theology, Nova et VeteraThe New RessourcementAmericaThe Lamp, and First Things. He has lectured as a visiting professor at the Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and will hold the Anna and Donald Waite Endowed Chair in Jesuit Education at Creighton University during the 2025–2026 academic year. Fr. Strand holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame (Ph.D.), Boston College (S.T.L.), the Pontifical Gregorian University (S.T.B.), Fordham University (M.A.), and Marquette University (B.S.).
