Fulton Sheen, prominent member of The Catholic University community for nearly 25 years, best-selling author, and television celebrity, was followed by millions of people worldwide, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, under its Director, J. Edgar Hoover.

Produced by Rome Reports TV News Agency, the 28-minute documentary includes exclusive footage shot in Peoria, Illinois, and Rome, Italy. It reveals the contents of recently declassified FBI files and sheds new light on the miracle that initiated the process for Fulton Sheen’s beatification.

The event will open with a reception, light refreshments, and a screening of the documentary. Following the screening, journalist and Vice President of Marketing and Communications for The Pontifical Mission Societies, Inés San Martín, will moderate a discussion with Thomas Smith, PhD, Professor of Politics and Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences; Father Anthony D. Andreassi, PhD, ad interim National Director of The Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States; and Antonio Olivié, CEO of Rome Reports and co-director of the documentary.
